PROJECT SANJEEVANI

At TALEEM we believe that nation & society prosper only when its citizens are living a healthy life.

Project SANJEEVANI (means ‘Immortal or Life Giving’ in Hindi) is based on three core activities:

  • Spreading awareness & consciousness towards better health.
  • Providing help and support for treatment of common recurring disease.
  • Coordination among various organizations working in this field.

Project Sanjeevani, which means immortal or Life Giving aims to educate & spread awareness on the prevention and control of various diseases.

Project Sanjeevani plans to educate & spread awareness on the prevention and control of various diseases like family planning; vaccinations, malnutrition amongst children and especially girls. Special emphasis is given to sanitation, general hygiene (both personal & Community), waste disposal methods, clean drinking water, pollution free heating and lighting devices.

As part of the project, we will provide help and support to the economically weaker sections of the society in getting treatment of various ailments. We plan to organize general health checkup camps, physiotherapy camps and other awareness camps for the underprivileged in society.

Project Sanjeevani will use digital technology, Tele Counseling and Tele-advice from Medical and Health experts to reach out to the economically weaker sections of the society and rural areas where the medical facilities are scarce.

Project Sanjeevani aims to provide and prepare a platform for health care benefits to reach where it is most required. The project will function in Coordination with State & Central Government Agencies, other NGOs working in the same field; medical experts and other partner organizations
